How do I apply for a scholarship?
In order to be considered for a scholarship you must complete the online scholarship application. Just one application is all you have to fill out and any scholarship you meet the criteria for you will be then be considered for. You must fill out a new application for each academic year.
If I miss the deadline what should I do?
Even if you miss the deadline go ahead and fill out the online scholarship application. From time to time there are scholarships that we are unable to award based on criteria established by the donor. Some scholarships are awarded later in the semester because of this.
What scholarships are available?
Go to the “Available Scholarships” page for a full listing of all available scholarships and the criteria for each of them.
If I have an application on file and I make a change to my schedule do I need to fill out another application?
No. Once you submit an application you do not have to fill out another one. We review all student applications every two weeks to make sure all of your information is up to date.
How will I be notified if I have been awarded a scholarship?
You will receive an email or phone call informing you that you have been awarded a Foundation scholarship. Once you find out you have been selected for a scholarship, you will need to contact the Scholarship Coordinator to learn the details of your scholarship.
Can I use my scholarship money to buy books for my classes?
In some instances you can, it depends on which scholarship you received. Contact the Foundation office before you go to the bookstore to find out how your scholarship works.
I presently have a Foundation scholarship and I have registered for my classes. Do I need to contact the Foundation office to let you know?
Yes, the office needs to know so that we can apply your scholarship towards your account.
